This course provides theoretical and practical training in modern experimental methods for fluid mechanics. Students will learn the principles, operation, and application of advanced measurement systems, as well as techniques for error analysis, data accuracy evaluation, and dimensional analysis. Laboratory sessions will reinforce theoretical concepts through hands-on experiments using state-of-the-art instrumentation, such as Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). The registration is free of charge (meals are not included). The course is intended for Ph.D. students, postdoctoral researchers, and anyone interested in advanced measurement techniques in hydraulics and fluid mechanics. It will be held in person.
